My name is Kellen Brantley, and I was born and raised in Miami, Florida. I played football at Miami Central and Coral Park Sr. High before earning a full scholarship to Wake Forest University, where I graduated with a degree in Communications. After college, I signed as a free agent with the Tennessee Titans, the Buffalo Bills, and later played in NFL Europe for the Frankfurt Galaxy.

The idea for the CapBox came to me when I started losing my hair and began collecting baseball caps. My dresser quickly filled up with hats, and none of the storage options on the market worked. Everything was flimsy, inconvenient, or didn't actually protect the caps. That's when I decided to invent my own solution. With encouragement to "just do it," I sketched designs, made prototypes, and eventually created the Acrylic CapBox. From there, we launched the CapBox 2.0, which quickly became a customer favorite and one of the most popular hat storage boxes on Amazon.
